Jerry, my name is Mel. Ive lived here in South Carolina for a little over 8 years now. ive found a few relics, how ever im more then interested in finding both old coins and relics alike. I have a son in Walterboro, hes the Captain over WPD. Anyways, i dont know anyone or have anyplace to hunt. looking for some one to hunt with. i actually have more time doing history research then actual field time. Let me give you a lowdown on myself. Ive been doing this for over 20 years, i started doing it in Anchorage, Alaska (13 yrs)looking for gold nuggets, and Hawaii (6yrs) for surf and finding mostly loss jewelery. Over the lasy couple of years recently found out that General Francois Marion is actually my Great XXXX grand father! So cool!
