you don't know my luck. Beach audio no longer has them. On ebay or on the online store. Just my luck! You know what is crazy is the regular price 3 to 4 hundred bucks.

You're in luck.I bought my Time Ranger from Beach Audio on ebay.It sells for $174.The item number is 23086288225.You get also get the 4inch with this unit.I bought th 10inch from Kellyco.com.I also saw it on ebay same price. If you get the 10inch coil let me know because there's a special way to ground balance the 10inch that's not in the instructions.I did by accident.Let me know if you get this message.
I did receive your reply but it came through as a visitor message? the one I am looking at has the standard coil and the the 4in coil as well. Did you get a 4in coil? did you get the 10in from the same ebay seller? Sorry for the questions but you are the only person that I have found that has gotten one recently and is actually using it.
Hi:I live in New Jersey.I must have looked at hundreds of videos on youtube with different detectors on the beach. What made me buy the Time Ranger was a guy using a cheap Bounty Hunter on the beach in Florida on youtube. So I took a chance and bought the better model Time Ranger for $174 on ebay.I've tested it in the bay and ocean and it works great. At first I wasn't getting many hits with it like with my Whites detector and the reason was it filtered out pull tabs, bottle caps and nails. One thing I also got was the 10" optional coil from Kellyco for $59.There is a difference in coils.Better depth.I have a Whites $1200 VX3 and I use the Time Ranger on sand and water instead of the Whites. If you get the Time Ranger do some tests like I did and bury some coins and pull tabs on the beach. If you get the 10" coil contact me before you use it because there's a trick you must perform for it to balance it which the directions don't tell you.Let me know if you get this message.Frank
