I live in Ohio half of the year and in Naples the other half... Haven't had much luck yet, (still in Ohio) and there is 8 inches of snow on the ground. But I am trying to get into an abandoned amusement part that is over 100 years old before I head back South for the season, and just found out that a restaurant here locally was a General Store 100 years ago.. So gonna check that out as soon as the snow melts.. Good luck to ya!

So where are you located? Went this weekend with a buddy in biloxi. Found one 1947 roosevelt. Kinda slow lately, but anyday i find silver is a good day.
I have been needing to find some new spots, i keep going back to the same old hunted out sites hopeing i might find something i missed.
Have you been having any luck?
I see youre from SE LA., if i were you id be hunting in NOLA, or the surrounding areas.
There were alot more people in new orleans during the 1800s than there were on the gulf coast area.
There are some good videos on youtube of people hunting parks in the NOLA area, i tried city park once, but didnt have much luck.
Id love to go back, but i think city park has been hunted pretty hard in the past years.
Would love to find an old plantation someplace near NOLA to hunt.
Need to find some virgin ground.
