    Lighthouse Park is at the foot of Garfield st off Gratiot ave. Basicly behind Palmer Park, just N. of the acual Lighthouse

    I would be happy to meet you. Only problem is I will need directions to lighthouse park, not real sure how to get there. Also would like to go to goodells also.

    How about Tue. Morning 10 AM.I will be at Lighthouse Park. I have hunting the township park on Howard rd off Allen , it has it all a beach, ball diamonds, picnic area, tennis courts, every time there I do well. You are welcome to join me there Monday at 10 AM. Later in the week I am going back to Goodells Park, where I dug 40 coins in 3 hours, last week. Let me know, Fred

    Congrats on the Grand child, hope everyone is fine. A Grand childs birth is a special deal for us Grand parents. Surely dont feel bad about anything.     No rain in the A.M. I went to Kimball park Sun.for a few hours, very muddy, but lots of clad. I am going to Lakeside Mon. about 10 A.M. If you can make it that would be great, If not Tue. afternoon its supposed to be nice, I will be going somewhere, not sure where yet. I drive a green Jeep (older) Fred

    I know, After all this it will be so muddy, one of the beaches will be our best bet. I'm thinking any day next week. I am thinking the beach early in the week, then the later in the week, if it gets drier, there are more options. Fred

    I sent them a e-mail and they responded that metal detecting is allowed as long as you dont damage any of the structures or property. Would like yo get out and try to MD, thinking of the beach area.

    I see in your earlier post, you had rules for city of P.H. Parks etc, I couldnt find anything on line. Did they tell you anything we dont want to hear? I have got my heart set on the older part of Pine Grove Park! I have been hunting Kimball Township Park (Howard rd) Goodells Park, Woodsong Co. Park(end of Rynn rd) Lakeside (real trashy) Lighthouse( like it better) Kimball school, Gonna hit the park at the end of Beach rd soon. I use Google Earth, birdseye view, for research photos.     I am new as well. Got my first detector in Jan.Had a heart attack about a year ago, recovering nicely, on disability, this is exercise, plus my 1 mi. walk everyday. Worked construction as an equipment operator, for 25yrs. Would be willing to share my limited knowlage, I try to hunt everyday,for 3 or 4 hrs, Hunted with nickeltabs last week, had a good time.
