  • Hey digginbass, sorry for the late reply. I haven't attempted water detecting yet, but for finding locations I'd try to find old topographical maps of the area online, showing where old buildings and such were.
As to the Garrett question, no, I was thinking of getting a Garrett pro-pointer, but I'm doing ok with my Bounty Hunter as my main detector. Do you use a Garrett?
No problem, that Moxie bottle sounds sweet! I got a pre-prohibition Eichler Beer bottle and a 65' Diet Pepsi in my woods a few weeks back. Nice Garand bayonet. :icon_thumright: I love WW2 stuff.
Hello joe sorry about not getting back to you I'm actually in maine where I have been on several eyeballing trips and have found so far a beautiful moxie cola bottle ginger ale bottle and pocket watch but that's besides the point anyway I am also starting out myself but have been growing rapidly my first day bac from europ I found a Washington quarter in my back yard but if you have any need for a buddy to go digging with my offer will stand thank you and check out my facebook youtube and instagram
P.P.S. Since you were asking about my digging experiences, my best finds have been a silver spoon from The Roosevelt, a NYC hotel, A brass safety razor from 1927, an 1848 Large Cent, and a illegible date S marked Standing Liberty quarter. How bout you? :)
Hi digginbass, thanks for the offer, but I'm just starting out when it comes to serious detecting, and I've still got a bit to learn. :laughing7: Thanks anyways and HH! :icon_thumright:

P.S. Where are you from in NY?
