Hi totally new to the forum! I've had a Bounty Hunter dectector for years and am only now starting to use it now that my kids are grown up and that I can only play so much golf. It's an older high end model that my wife got for me from Cabelas . I'am learning how use machine and was looking for advice on how to best use it . For example I have a old house 1840-1850 that I have permission to hunt around. I'am always wondering if I should hunt in the all metal smarttrac mode , one of the presets or one of the more customized modes or even hunt the area with several different modes. I just bought one of those predator mini shovels and am going to get a pinpointer soon .I live in western Massachusetts and was wondering if anyone out there has a club or goes on hunts together?
