  • IdahoJake,

I wanted to say hi after watching your video about the high banker you built. I spend about a week every year in the Riggens, ID area and last year I got a 2" dredge to try my hand at finding gold. I see the gold in the small streams but very little in the pan. After look around the internet I need to do things different. What I have is a Robin SD04-2B pump (35 GPM) and a 10"x46" sluice set on a small frame. One of the issues I was having is to much material building up in the box. The frame only had a 1" riser for the sluice. Another issue I had was the hose clogging with rocks. I want to change things up a bit and hoping you can give me some ideas. I was thinking of making a new sluice or build a hopper to attach to the one I have. the plan is to fill 5 gallon pails and bring the material down to the lake(more water), classify the material and run though the sluice. I would love to wash the rocks to see if I can find some gems.
    Thanks,
    Ehaw
