How long have you been at this and what kind of equipment do you have?

I've been playing in these hills for the last 50 years! Still love it and still haul in some heavy packs so I can stay in for two weeks.
I started out with my cereal bowl, graduated to a real plastic gold pan, a few other minor items then a Geologists Pry Bar, made a small 1/4" mesh classifier, bought a 2" dredge in 1992 and carried it in a few times but never found a thing with it as I was using it wrong. Purchased the GMT detector and after a few years of a dry spell I started finding gold with it and I've learned to trust it. Then bought a Keene A52 sluice box, a Bazooka Super Mini but have yet to really use it.

I love the out of doors and plan on spending many more years out in it. Regards...............Herb/63bkpkr
