HI Everyone: New to the Treasure Net. I live by Charleston, SC and originally come from Sackets Harbor, NY. Been metal detecting for about 40 yrs. Retired now and like to hunt everything from relics to coins. Like to hunt the beaches around Charleston. Haven't found anything too earth shattering yet but the anticipation is probably the biggest kick anyway. There's nothing like hearing the detector go off and wondering what's under that coil. Course a gold coin would be nice too. I found a small rolled piece of lead at an old plantation site and it had knife marks on it. Wonder if it was the makings of a bullet ? Will post a pic as soon as I figure out how.
