I'm in Carmel, probably too far to drop in for a friendly hunt. The most valuable things I've learned in the almost 2 years I've been hunting are: 1) Don't be in a hurry to learn the ropes. Just take your time and you will learn to "read" your particular machine. 2) When in doubt, Dig! 3) When in doubt, Dig! So good luck, and I'll be keeping an eye out for your posts.
