  • Thanks for the friend request. You are my first TNet friend. I am new to the hobby, started at the beginning of the year. I got a $200 Bounty Hunter machine, but to be honest with you, it did not work as well as I expected. Perhaps my expectations were out of line... that happens a lot with me. I used the BH twice, just to make sure that I was into detecting, then I got an AT Pro... it works pretty good. I have found (3) silver coins and a nice gold ring. My best advice on a machine is to spend as much as you can afford, there are a lot of other factors, but a good machine makes it easier.

    Hi i'm Jay. New to this and new to MD i'm looking to get my first MD and have been doing lots of reading and looking to spend $300 to $400. im thinking of getting the fisher f2 or teknetics euro tek pro or a tesoro but not sure what to do. i like the look of the tesoro and the life time warranty but not sure if you need a screen or if there any good. i'm also not sure if i should get one with a Manual Ground Balance or auto or fixed.if anyone has some helpful information i would be great full. thank you
