    William "Woody" Woodworth passed on Sunday Nov 9th

    My old friend Woody passed on Nov 9 at age 93. He wrote several articles in the 80's and 90's for the treasure magazines. Most of his articles were about hunting gold nuggets with a detector. He will be missed.

    My sincere condolences to you and all of Woody's family and friends.

    I edited a number of his articles years ago, and he was truly one of the old-time "good guys" in treasure hunting.
    Forgotten but not gone.
