was my best friend John Raymond. John passed away from cancer this past week at the tender age of 50. John like myself did not post many things on this site but he and I were both avid lurkers. The greatest treasure I have ever found whilst metal detecting was my friend John. He was the kindest person that I have ever known. I will miss him immensely and detecting will not be the same but I will continue to detect as I know he would want me to. Maybe John, just maybe..I may actually dig to China one day.

So sorry to hear of your loss! What a blessing he obviously was in your life and thanks for sharing a bit about your friendship with him. You are in my prayers as you are coping with this loss! ~hugsnprayers~

May the memories he created be always remembered by those whom he came in contact with.
