Old timer "Woody" Woodworth passes on.

My friend "Woody" Woodworth passed away Sunday. He was 93. He wrote articles for Western and Eastern Treasure magazine and was one of the earlier nugget hunters. I'll sure miss him.

For those new to nugget hunting, "Friend Woody" was one of the first truly successful nugget hunters back in the late 70's. In fact, he got ME started searching for those elusive gold nuggets. James "Jimmy Sierra" Normandi mentioned Woody repeatedly in his books "Finding Nuggets" and "Finding Nuggets II." He, and his wit, will indeed be missed. HH Jim

I regret very much learning of Woody's passing. Read a good deal via Jimmy's books about Woody as well. He will be sadly missed.
