    where to get gold maps???tertiary channel/gravels

    I would like to get some gold maps to show places to go metal detecting, where is the best place to get detailed maps from, Does USGS have info for prospectors?

    State of California has the maps(book too bulletin 191),so does pioneermining.com Tons a au 2 u 2-John

    OOPS California state dept of mines and geology-google'm online shopping too.For the first time in 20 years + they are reprinting much valuable information at 1/2 the retail cost too!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
