Has anyone ever used or have any knowledge of the Falcon MD20 probe. It looks like a good tool for locating gold or checking samples. Any feedback would be great.
The Falcon is great for sampling, but because of the small coil it wouldn't be the best for locating gold.
(It doesn't have much depth either)
I would get the Gold Bug 2, which is great for locating as well as sampling.
Thanks for the reply. I would use it for sampling prior to performing dry washer operations and also for sniping in rivers. I still don't get how it can distinguish between black sand and gold mixed in a plastic pan.
