This will be a great year for placer nuggets on your claims in Washington's Central Cascades. Even if you don't have a claim, get out your equipment and have fun looking in the public areas.

I know the dredge season was extended for a lot of the higher elevation streams, and lots of flooding this year. Is that why this is going to be a great year or another reason?

I'm finding a lot of flake and flour gold with BB sized nuggets down stream from the snow line. I usually find mostly flour gold in this area.

Time for me to follow the snow line to the source of the gold.

There has been a lot of rain and snow run off and some road damage from water over the road way. All that water brought a lot of new material in the rivers.

Follow your dreams of finding nuggets and Happy Hunting.
