Thanks for the demo.
Air test doesn't really say anything for the ground balance of the two which is the key to finding nuggets. Should test a nugget under a foot of black sand cons and see how they compare.
This is what I recently did with the new GBP. The GG (Gorund Grab) is sweet and was no comparsion to my LOBO or GB2.

Yep, I'm gonna do some more test when the weather is better. Even a nugget sitting on top of the ground is a whole different world than air test. These air test are just for a reference on gold nuggets for general learning. In the field is a whole different matter.

alan do you think it will be a good sniper for the river ? maybe exposed bedrock ,cracks etc... 10 foot and less in depth?

Even though it does not have a true all metal mode I found it to be a very sensitive machine. Got that .1 gram nugget with that big 11x8.5 coil easy. I think it would do fine esspecially with that 4.5 sniper coil.

Waiting to hear some good reports from you about your gold bug pro also.
