Best gold detecting machine

I want to start searching for gold in Zimbabwe and would like advice on which would be the best detector to buy??

I would be searching along river beds, old mine dumps and unworked rough terrain.

Can anyone give me some useful advise.? I will have to purchase the machine new and import it into Zimbabwe and need to spend my money wisely.
