Check out what I won on E- Bay, USB microscope

:icon_thumright:Found some very small specimen gold at a club claim in some crushed pilings at a old gold mine. Seemed since we are not finding bigger gold, I need to get something to at least make it look bigger. Will arrive from Hong Kong in 5-10 days. Will post some picutres of our finds when it arrives and a critique of how easy or difficult it is to use...

It was your post on the prospecting board that inspired to try and find one. Probably not as nice as the one you purchased, but hopefully will make the small stuff I find look bigger:thumbsup:

Must have been a slow boat from China. :laughing7: Here is some small specimen gold in quartz that my son and I pulled out of the tailing piles of and old gold mine in the mother load. Enjoy... PS sorry fro the quality, not real good at the pictures yet....

That looks like a cool contraption you bought. You took those snapshots of what you were seeing on the PC screen? That would be good for photographing coins or stamps on the inside of rings. I see what it does but is it solid or does it feel like a "cheap piece of junk"?

It is was worth the money in my opinion, you can pay more for better optics, but for surveying small pieces and taking photos for myself, it is more than adequate, although I am still getting the hang of it, these are the first pictures taken....
