    Probably the Sierra Gold Max is the most popular. It's a 14" elliptical.

    Hey Grubby, besides the heavy weight of the 1400 DD, I can't tell of any loss in sensitivity on small gold. Seems to get a couple more inches on the small stuff though. I haven't tried my small DD yet

    It's alot easier to fill back a hole than dig it! Gonna try an area with the MXT, with the Eclipse DD, this weekend, that's been hit hard with the Minelabs, but has several real trashy areas (rusty disintergrated cans ect), but near where gold has been found. Hope the discrimination is as good as all say! Not sure whether to start in prospecting or relic tho??Shep
