Amount of gold in the earth

I heard or read somewhere, correct me if I'm wrong, that if you extracted all the gold in the earth, it would cover all the landmasses of the earth, TO YOUR KNEE.

Makes me want to start digging. ;-)

That is a total mystery and all answers wind. We haven't even scratched the DRY surface and there are millions of tons underwater in the oceans.Dig anyhow, I have for over 47 years and ain't gonna stop till I get my free pass for a long dirtnap!! Tons a au 2 u-John
