Really nice online videos about destinations in California's Gold Country

I thought these video travelogues from OpenRoad.TV about California's Gold Country might be interesting and maybe helpful to anyone visiting any of these locations. The "story video" plays from each of the individual travelogue pages:

"Amador's Gold Country Nuggets" - See the fabled Mother Lode from the inside out and from deep underground, and discover fine wines and a devotion to the past on the hills nearby. http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?cat...=16&p25_id=114

"Downieville History and Adventure" - What goes up must keep going up. Pedal to the top of the Gold Country, far above Mark Twainís old town. http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?cat...d=16&p25_id=65

"Gold Country RV Adventure" - This is the most authentic gold rush town in California, a gentle remembrance of Jewish immigrants who helped shape modern California, and a cavernous creation of Mother Earth. http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?cat...=16&p25_id=102

"Placerville Ghosts and Gold" - They used to call this place Hangtown and some of its ghosts may still be hanging around ready to share a drink and a few of your gold nuggets. Watch your pockets. http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?cat...=16&p25_id=20#

And finally, my own user submitted story to the OpenRoad.TV site about the field trip to Gold Country I went on with my son's 4th grade class (sorry, no video but some nice photos): http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?cat...=16&p25_id=175

I hope you enjoy these videos about trips to Gold Country. I know I sure did.

Thanks - these are enjoyable and have lots of information. I love that part of California. A few years back, my family and I spent a few days in the area of Columbia and Jamestown, and had a blast. The Sierra Railroad in Jamestown is great, and of course there's so much gold history there.
