Black sand
Hey, I was talking to a farmer today that stripped some gravel from a creek bed. I asked to hunt arrowheads. He said know problem since he knew of me. Then he told me every year a group camps there for several days and pans gold. I cant remember the group initials , but there was a lot of them. I heard there is no gold in Arkansas, even read it. I have a stream full of black sand. Is it worth the effort to try to learn? Ray

That's really good advice! I know there's a place that looks alot like the picture that's posted... and I know there's supposed to be "no gold" here in Missouri, but I'm kinda wanting to get a pan or two and try it anyway... just to make sure. And I think there's landscape that fits your description there, OD... Hmm...

Re: Black sand
Your right GPAA. Why would they come here for a week every year? They really keep it quiet too. Tiny little signs and big RVs.
