A while back i had the chance to scan a mined out bench a miner had given me permission to detect...I thought what the heck, some bedrock was left exposed and i scanned it carefully. As i passed over a narrow gravel filled crack i got a very nice buzz. IMG_1773.JPG .... There were several dwt pieces dug out and at the very bottom lay this 1.5oz piece....Too early for beer, so i just did the gold shuffle....

I'll vote banner on that....most nuggs posted are 1.5 grams...not 1.5 ounces !! That's one of the bigger nuggs I've seen posted here !! Congrats on the big gold !!

Too early for beer? I'm totally confused by that statement. It's gibberish. It's like the words don't belong together in the same sentence.

Nice nugget though.
