It was in an area known for gold !! Shasta County

Not many nuggets that size just laying around on the surface.
It needs a name...I'd call it....."THE GOLDEN DUMPLING NUGGET"

Hopefully you remembered to fill your hole back in after you picked yourself up off the ground.
