I scored a couple chunky lil bits today. The bigger one is 1.2 grams and the smaller is .4 20201228_163023.jpg

I was using the 14"x9" coiltek elite. I need to take the bigger coil here. There is potential for some bigger stuff deeper. I was hunting below a pocket dig. I think I'll take a rake with me next time and try to see if I can peel a layer of rocks off the slope

Nice find , Are you on bedrock there ? I guess drywashing is on hold for some time .

Bedrock is exposed in some of the area and deeper in some. These were in shallow bedrock that is crumbling down the hill.

Yeah there is definitely more work to do here. I'm going to spend some time here with a rake. I just thought of putting some strong magnets on the rake...maybe clear some iron trash targets while raking.. Hopefully it will turn into a patch.

I also use a strong magnet on my rake...it helps
