That's a honker.....! Got me a 3.5ozt. nuggie last season and it's about half the size of that brute. 6 ozt. is my guess...?

3.5 oz is a big nugget but the nugget I posted is over 500 grams .

So, right around 16 ounces. That's one sweet chunk of gold. It will sell at a good premium I hope.

As for the 3.5 ounce chunk, I've never got my coil over a hefty piece like that. Most of our larger pieces we get detecting come in around the 5-7 gram range, although I have seen one and two ounce nuggets come out of the wash-plant. So, congratulations on your 3.5 ounce beauty OneGuy, amazing find.
