MineLab X-Terra70.....Garrett- Scorpion
Greetings all,
I am new to Treasurenet and am impressed with the sight and integrity of the members. Lots of good people and information!!!!!! My family has (with a little help) decided to upgrade our recreational hunting to include Prospecting with an MD(s). We live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon and enjoy the Quartzville and Applegate areas to name a couple. We have been researching various MD's and have narrowed the choice down to two: The MineLab X-Terra 70 or the Garrett Infinium. Both have pro's and con's. I am looking for experienced &/or firsthand input. Any recommendations or comments is greatly appreciated. Don

The Infinium is a PI unit which has limited discrimination abilities compared to the X-70. If you are going to use the unit for other purposes such as coin shooting the X-70 would be a better choice.

By the way White's is coming out with a new PI early this year which may be a better choice than the Infinium. Time will tell.
