Poison Switch, Oakhurst, Coarsegold, North Fork

Anyone know any areas in the Oakhurst, Coarsegold, North Fork area
that is ok to prospect with either pan or metal detector? Secondly, is
there a map of these areas, or can I get a map showing areas ok to
prospect? Coarsegold Creek is pretty barren and is becoming a dumping
ground for bottle caps and old bean tin cans, and Poison Switch is not
far behind.

Tom, I believe the turn in the river on 600 is claimed by Coarsegold Mining club (not their real name, don't know it). I believe there's a mining shop across from the CG Market, that can give you all the info you need.
