Chris, the one at the top is Jason's ( 4.24 grams of gold ) his big rock would not fit in the photo.
Justins is center right. ( 1 penny weight )

    Re: GMT - 4 , Gold Bug - 1

Very Nice!! Well done to the boys.
What are the "ferns" in that quartz? Can any one tell me? I get a lot of that in quartz I come across here in the Coromandel of New Zealand? I always thought it to be some kind of sulphide or silver mineralisation.

    Thanks

    Happy golding

    Re: GMT - 4 , Gold Bug - 1

G'day Wildcat, Yes it does look very similar to those specimen pieces of yours from Poolburn. This is a lot off topic but talking of Poolburn, my wife videos weddings for a living & one she did a few weeks ago up near here in Tauranga, The groom & a whole bunch of people were up from Poolburn. The groom was born & raised there & I am sure you would no some of the names. Sorry about that to very one else. I know it was off topic of gold.
I am off tomorrow for a play with my little back packable 3" dredge.

    Happy hunting

    JW
