Wyoming Gold ?

Going to Wyoming in two weeks for Cheyenne Days. I am staying South of Centennial Wy, and was
wondering if there is any places to go look for Gold. The only thing I have found is there was a old Gold Mine north of Centennial some where. Thanks for you time and any information that would help.

Go to "golddredger.com" there is a crew that Periodically work the Douglas Creek, see if you can look up JasonG or Leonard, over there.. Leonard is in AK for a month but he runs the show and knows the Douglas intimately. If you are a GPAA member there are a couple of claims you can work.

the main road to the east takes you to a dead end and you can go south towards Encampment, WY or go north towards Saratoga, WY.... off to the east back in there between the 2 are some nice criks and streams to work.... when i lived in COLO SPRINGS i used to go up there and hunt
