Is There Gold in Southern Utah?

Can anyone tell me if there is a place to find gold in the Washington county area? I have never tried nugget shooting before and would love to try it. I am also looking for others that have panned and are willing to show me how any info would be great.

There is a lot of gold in UT, but not sure about Washington. Here are some of the others, Beaver, Daggett, Emery, Garfield, Juab, Millard, Piute, Salt Lake, San Juan, Tooele, Uintah, and Wayne. There are also some good treasure hunting areas in UT, as there was a lot of Spanish activity in that state.
