Lightweight Headphones

I could use some advice here. I've been detecting for years and sometimes the standard headphones are just too clumsy and very hott. I am currently using a White's MXT 300 and would like to know if anyone is successfully using lightweight and/or wireless headphones that work with this unit. My primary detecting is colonial and civil war sites so I'm usually in more remote areas and do not have that much ambient noise.

Thanks for any advice !

Behind the head light weight stereo headphones with volume control, about $19.00 Radio Shack. I have 3 sets and use them all the time. Monty

You might want to look at "Rat Phones", made by "Detect USA". I don't have
a set, but have heard many good reports on them. Their not cheap, however
I understand their cool, lightweight, really sound good and are comfortable.
There's a web site under "Rat Phones", where you can get the entire scoop on
them.

I'm ordering me a set soon. Just another idea.

Thanks Blklab...... I went to radio shack and picked up an inexpensive pair of over the head and a pair of behind the head headphones and an adaptor to fit my machine..... total cost $14.90. I tested them in the field today and they seem to work fine.

At the very least; an inexpensive backup to my more expensive full size set.
