Scotland/Ireland - Linlithgowshire/Lanarkshire, Co. Tyrone

Can anyone direct me to where I can read up on the rules/regs for detecting in those areas? Specifically Boness (Bo'ness), Linlithgow, probably Bathgate, Glasgow (Gorbals/Govan/Calton). Hopefully we'll get to Forfar (Angus) as well

We are planning on flying over in either 2005 or 2006 so I can hunt down some relatives and do some genealogical research. I want to do some advance planning, if I can.

Its a British Forum with well over 1000 members. There are some members on ther who will treat you as a troll to start with, but don't worry, its only because there have been some real trouble makers on there. Sign on with the same user name and tell'em Sheddy sent you. I'll keep 'em off your back!! There are some very knowledgable members. I moderate the rally section on there and can sort you out with rallies within travelling distance if there are any available during your stay. If not, I have contacts all over the place and can most probably sort out detecting permissions for you. Its your job to get it past the wife tho' !!
