questions on gaining permission

i have 2 spots i found, and was wondering if i even need permission, and if i do, how do i go about getting it

the first is an old foundation of where a house was standing, its in a pretty remote area, and the area is a little grown in with bushes, trees etc.......but there is NO signs anywhere for no tresspassing blah blah.......there is one house, that is occupied right up the road in eyesight on the other side.....does no signs mean i can give it a go?


another is an old abandoned house, with the barn and outhouse still standing....the property is UNoccupied and there are no for sale signs or no tresspassing signs anywhere...once again there is a house up the road about 75-100yds away.......if i did need permission, how would i find out who even owns the property......there is no address on the house or nothing



any input?

The Age of the Building
a Picture of the building


Etc.

It is always best to Check before you hunt
Once you know the owner you will know if permission is needed.

I would say do as Jeff suggests.
Getting permission usually isn't too hard, and it sure beats the heck out of getting kicked off forever.
My experience has been that permission at a site like that is pretty easy to come by, and often the owner can give you some great additional info, not to mention possible permission to hunt other properties.

Better to ask, not worth the embarrassment of getting asked to leave and not come back. I know a couple of guys that were told to leave and others still hunt the same area because they asked. Land owners want to be respected. HH John

Yeah I can't envision hunting on someone else's property without getting specific permission ahead of time so please check in as all above suggest!
