Back in March I offered my Brother-in-law to go in halves on a metal detector. He is an avid coin collector and seemed quite eager. I figured $400 - $500 each; we could get a top of the line detector. Sharing or working together shouldn?t be a problem since we are both married with children with little spare time. Well after a couple of months of non-commitment I bought a? used Whites Spectrum Eagle. I hope to be proficient with the detector by next spring. Well, my brother-in-law just went out a couple weeks ago and bought a White?s DFX for $1k. It is hidden in his garage and he waiting for the right moment to tell his wife he spent the money. I offered to hide the detector in my cellar and even put it together for him. Should I let him know he will have to explain when the credit card bill shows up in the mail?
