I know nothing about md'ing, and wanted to get into it. was looking at the tesoro deleon, or the garrett gta x 550. Was hoping I could get some input from the pros on which you guys think would be the best. thanks in advance.

Tesoro for sure. They are top quality machines, lightweight, long battery life, excellent resale/trade-in values due to their well known lifetime warranty...the only one in the business. You cannot go wrong with that brand.
