I had a Bounty Hunter 202 in lay away at Wal Mart, but after reading a few boards I wasn't sure if that is what I really wanted to get.? I didn't want to spend over $200 on a first detector only to find that I didn't like the hobby. I picked this TA 300 up for $76, so I don't think I will get hurt too bad if it turns out to be the wrong choice.
What I am really wanting to look for is meteorites (yeah, I know....1 in a million to find one) and I hope to come across some coins while doing it.? Did I get the right machine ?
