New to MDing, Just getting started

I am just starting out, I am from Eastern Pennsylvania. What would you suggest as a way to find locations to hunt? I am interested in finding coins, jewlery and relics. I have heard "look for old foundations" "go where people were". Any ideas?

look through the forums here there is alot of good information on that !remeber it will take awhile to get to know your machine so do not loose hope if all you find is a bunch of pull tabs,nails or other junk!be happy when that first clad coin comes and be grateful for your first wheatie !just remember to check with your city or county before detecting in the parks some do not allow it!find a club in your area and join!good luck and keep reading the forums
