Hi Marc, are you looking to compile an expanding tree with search and compare functions or are you thinking about a simpler alphabetical list to just scroll down. As far as good 'n' bad detectors go, this forum, as you know, will give you the answers. But how about adding in to the "mix" the favorite detector per country.
Although, I think you may have opened a can of worms with this one, insofar as there are always going to be Garrett Guys, Minelab Men...... you know what I mean.
As a web designer I am often asked about setting up sites similar to this and what should go into them, and my answer is usually "suck it and see".
I wish you the best with your endeavours and if you would like me to compile a list of detectors available (currently) in the UK I would be only too happy to do so.
