are targets easy to identify ,easy to learn

Very Tuff Question.

Can you I.d. an aluminum Crackerjack Coin
From a Cantab ? No.
Can you I.D. a copper slug from a large cent ? no.
can you I.D. a $5.00 gold pece
from a Can Tab ? No.
Can you see what's in the Ground before
You dig ? Maybe if your Superman.

IF You have good Hearing & Use it alot, You
will be able to make goood Educated guesses.

Personally I think the Sovereign is the Best
Out there Because it dosn't Have a Icon
saying Pulltab

If you don't Mind a little extra weight
& Your willing to Buy a Sunray Probe for it.

I would Guess you'd Love it.

& Yes Very Easy to Learn

Jeff is right about the Sov GT. I don't bother with the different tones much as it it makes a noise I know it won't be small iron when Iron Mask is turned on. The screens they have on many detectors these days makes it to easy to leave good targets in the ground because the operator passes them up just because the screen says it is a pull tab or the numbers aren't right.

I have the Sunray S-1 inline probe on mine and love it. Depth with the probe is over 4 inches in some ground. In a trashy site you can lay on the ground and move the probe around to cherry pick the good stuff.

Jeff & Sandman.. Are right on for the Sovereign to me it beats every detector out there. And i have used a lot of diffrent detectors and owned a lot of diffrent detectors. But have had a Sovereign since 1992 and keep useing the Sovereign. I have had a lot of diffrent ones but always have had a Sovereign. If i go out with out a Sovereign i am not a happy camper. I keep the GTI 1500 for any one that wants to hunt with me but does not have a detector................. Love those Sovereigns...
