I tried the DFX 300's Deep Silver Program today. It worked pretty well. I got a Barber Quarter and a Walking Liberty Half. They were at about 5.5" deep. Real strong signals. What are your opinions of this program? I would like to get strong signals like this with targets 7-8". Is it possible with the DFX 300. What do you recomend? Thanks for looking.

I could hit coins that deep with my XLT so there is no doubt the DFX will hit them. I used a program called Pre-Amp 15 I put that into my buddies DFX a few years ago and he liked it just had to add a couple of things as the DFX has 2 or 3 more adjustments then the XLT. That program worked good for me, If you would like to try it let me know and I can send it too you. Or you can google it I'm sure.

Spooky, are you talking about the dfx deep silver program or the preamp 15 program mentioned earlier? I can deal with the depth being off a bit.

thanks, I got some good hits with that program yesterday. I wonder how I could improve upon it. I just want good signals a little deeper than I've been getting. I guess everyone wants that though.
