I found the handle portion of a fork or spoon or serving utensil of some sort today on the home site I've been working. It has a brittany makers mark. amazingly it seems to be tin I guess or lead if that is even possible, I hope not? It registers in that range on the detector and it is flexible and not rusted at all.

Anyway, any idea on how old the Brittany silverware would be, all I see online is mid 1900's which while possible if it was taken along on a hunt, the site however is pre 1840's. So i'm curious if my first(if a handle counts) silverware find, is from the time period or a hunters leftovers.
