found a radioshack microta 63-3003 at a garage sale anybody have any info on it or know where i could find some or is it a piece of junk

Junk is everywhere and toy metal detectors are real junk that should be outlawed. You generally get what you pay for. Sorry.

This goes double for the most of the no name brand detectors on ebay.

I had bought a discovery once at a yard sale because the price was right, and believe me, you do get what you pay for. The ace150 and 250 are great entry level detectors that will find you paydirt without the frustration.
