Kids just loved the new 4-h metal detecting program just introduced recently, thanks to Gary S. Minelab, Vince@Tesoro and many t-net members donating machines, coins, tokens, gold, silver, jewelry etc...
It's class act folks like yourselves that made this happen.

That is awesome. I have tried 2 times over the past couple of years to get my daughters 4-H club interested in metal detecting as a project. Haven't been able to garner any interest. I like the seeded hunt idea, as that may be more motivating.

It's now a 4-h program. Seriously!!
I will be more than happy in helping your 4-H chapter to organize a program.
The kids absolutely love this.
And what a great way to get them away from the TV set.
