Eastern North Carolina (Camp Lejeune and surrounding area)

Hey just wondering if any of you guys have any new sites that you know of to explore in this area. Also, would it be worthwhile to go out to some of the close islands to MD and how can this be done personally without having a guy take you to them? Anyone know of any good islands to try and how to get to them? Thank you for you time and responses.

research the civil war in your area and you should find numerous places to hunt within a short distance of lejeune........

Have you tried hunting on Camp Lejeune? There are a lot of sites to research and hunt.
