green, if that was all i would have to worry about, i would be fine. i got cut by my chainsaw today and got poked in the arm by a sharp stick and was bleeding and did not know it before some one said hey were is that blood coming from . did not get no deep cuts but I'm glad you did not poke your eye out
i guess the moral of the story is ,, a good day or a bad day,, is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick ,, lol keep swingin toadman mass...........
worked on a farm once was dodging around some hay bail got a alfalfa stem in the eye OUCH .then about an hour later heading to the store for chips for tuesday night poker flipped an ash out the window that went into other my eye!!what a day!!
Sticks in the eye...sand in the shoes...briars in the butt...ticks and bugs....brush in the hair...leaves in the underwear....rolling down hills...falling in the river....stuck in the mud......its all in a days fun!!!
never had a sharp stick in the eye, but a while back i worked in a junk yard. finished what i was doing ,turned and started to walk at the same time. Took a bent car antenna right into the eye ball , all the to the bone, just about knocked me over. thought the eye was gone, but I was OK, lucky the antenna had the little ball on the end, it was full of eyeball goop. nice little story i just had to share
Ya I am always looking up and watching where a I am going, especially when hunting around trees. Last Sunday my hunting buddy Steve stepped on a large thorn that went up into the bottom of his foot! We have these wonderful trees arond here that have thorns about 3 or 4 inche's long.
Oh, and Green please be more careful with that chainsaw!
A bad day of T hunting is better than a good day at WORK
Better luck next time...
