Had to talk myself into going because i didn't have much time to hunt, about an hour ,I went to the park anyway.Found the Merc right off the bat under a large tree,about 4-5 inches 89 vdi and showed .10-.25, strong tone. it was right on the money so to speak.it's in great shape. also found about 3.50 in clad not a bad day for 45 Min's detecting for a newbee. pics soon

Cool, Thanks all, Thats why I like detecting, Because you never are truly shure what your going to dig up. Feels good when you find something old like that, don't it! That dime made up for a lot of trash... Many congrats on your mercs too. AA
