I believe Mr. Bill was a minature comedic character. I would be very very careful before allowing someone named Mr. Bill anywhere near one of my detectors.

Bill Crabtree made several Whites into the detectors they should have been in the first place. Cheap too !

The Classic range would have improved sensitivity and ground balance mods.

The ultimate Classics (Whites Turbo's) were modified in Europe where the performance was really tweaked up and you could buy double D coils for them years before Whites produced any coils of that type.
